Help shape skills in the West Midlands!

LSIP West Midlands works directly with employers to understand today’s skills challenges and anticipate the workforce needs of tomorrow, helping ensure local training provision is aligned with business priorities across the region.​

We are inviting employers to share their views on:​

• Recruitment, retention, and wider workforce development challenges across your sector ​
• Current and future skills needs, including in digital, low carbon, clean growth, and net zero ​
• The support needed from local and national partners to strengthen skills and training provision ​

To gather insights from employers, the Chambers of Commerce across the region are delivering a range of engagement opportunities, including:​

• Sector-specific focus groups and regional roadshows ​
• One-to-one employer sessions to explore workforce challenges, skills gaps, and future talent needs in more depth ​
• Private employer interviews with businesses of all sizes and sectors, helping capture detailed insights to inform future skills planning and provision across the West Midlands (interviews are by appointment, contact@ [email protected]) ​
• Roundtable discussions bringing together employers, training providers, and key stakeholders ​
