Heavy Periods Are Not 'Normal' - Let's Talk About It
Free online event, Led by Dr Abha Sinha, Consultant Gynaecologist,
Date: 19 March 2026 - 6pm - 7pm
Many women are told that heavy periods are something they just have to live with — but that isn’t always true.
Join Dr Abha Sinha, Consultant Gynaecologist at Meriden Hospital, for an informative and supportive online conversation that breaks the silence around heavy menstrual bleeding. This session is designed to help women better understand what’s normal, what’s not, and when it may be time to seek expert advice.
Dr Sinha will explain the common causes of heavy periods, how they can affect your health and quality of life, and the range of treatment options available, from lifestyle changes and medication to specialist interventions. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions in a safe, confidential environment.
If heavy periods are impacting your daily life, work, relationships or wellbeing, this session is for you.
