James Ahearne, Chamber International Trade Hub Manager said: “It is great to see this funding being made available to businesses. We know customs declarations are going to be a big issues for businesses, particularly for those that currently trade only with EU markets and don’t have prior experience of making import or export declarations.
We recommend all companies involved in import and export look into this topic now and make sure they have plans in place to make customs declarations should they need to after 31st December”
Details of the grant scheme are available here https://www.customsintermediarygrant.co.uk/
