Event Detail

Unless the UK remains in the Single Market and the Customs Union businesses that import and export will need to make customs declarations in the near future!

The annual volume of customs declarations is forecast to rise from 55 million to 255 million post Brexit with 138,000 UK businesses being required to make declarations for the first time. This will undoubtedly put a strain on the existing infrastructure.

Don’t get caught out! With the 31st October deadline fast approaching it is essential that businesses involved in international trade understand the process and costs involved so that they are ready for the new requirements. Whether you plan to make customs declarations yourself, or use an intermediary to do it for you, this workshop will give you the essential information needed to understand the process and complete a simple import or export declaration.
