The Sports and Wellness Hub at the University of Warwick is setting out on a mission to support as many people as possible with their fitness goals this year and help ensure they are feeling empowered to continue on their path of fitness and wellbeing.

Alongside a free Gym and Swim one-day pass that offers unlimited access to the Hub's gym and pool facilities, those who register are also in with a chance of winning a free one-hour taster session for themselves and three other people (worth £80), with the competition winner set to be announced on the 18th March, when the Gym and Swim offer ends.

Warwick Sport Launches Indoor Climbing Competition for Local Community

The Sports and Wellness Hub’s impressive indoor Climbing Centre provides a thrilling climbing and bouldering experience and has hosted the National Universities' Lead and Speed Climbing Championships, International Children’s Games 2022 and regularly supports Team GB training camps.

The Climbing Centre is one of only a few climbing facilities in the UK that facilitates elite athlete speed training, with state-of-the-art timing equipment and a full height speed wall.

Available for people of all ages and abilities, this competition offers the public an opportunity to try out a new sport and inspire them to stay active.

Registrants must be at least 18 years old, whilst participants in the winning group must be at least five years old.
