The hospital will provide a range of services including ophthalmology, pain management, mental health, dermatology, cardiology, plastic surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, alongside diagnostics and private GP services.
The development brings new healthcare infrastructure to the city while creating roles for consultants, nurses and support staff.
Medical Director Bal Manoj said the hospital offers a different approach to private care and had brought fresh investment to the city.
He said: “At Skyline, consultants lead care pathways so we can deliver high-quality treatment and personalised care while keeping it affordable.
“We’re make significant investment here in Coventry because we can see an opportunity to serve the people of the city and the wider region.
“The hospital is now open and we’ll be adding more and more services as we go.”

The highly specialised Skyline Hospitals Eye Centre is working with local optometrists to offer rapid treatments for blinding conditions such as macular degeneration privately as waiting times for the initial treatment is now much longer in the NHS.
In addition, it is one of the few private centres to provide corneal transplantation, advanced retinal surgery, complex oculoplastic surgery and blepharoplasty in addition to cataract and refractive lens and laser surgery.
Skyline Hospitals is also on the NHS framework and as part of its commitment to supporting the wider healthcare system, has approached local health commissioners to assist in reducing medical, surgical and mental health backlogs.
