The hair salon based on Sheep Street, beat off tough competition, for their ‘right royal’ window display, from over 30 entries to scoop the top prize of a magnificent cup.
Rebecca Wadeson, owner of the Salon said: “We were so excited to win the competition and receive the trophy. It was fun putting the display together and it’s been great to see so many people stop, smile and enjoy it. I understand that lots of businesses entered the competition, and they have all done a brilliant job in creating some really amazing window displays which have added some real colour to the town centre – so well done to them all!”
Linda Lowne, Rugby First Business and Stakeholder Manager, said:
We are absolutely delighted that so many businesses got involved on this historic occasion. The competition winner will be promoted by Rugby First via social media, its web site and the local press so some great free promotion for The Annex Studios. In addition, all those businesses that took part will get a mention on our social media platforms. Terracotta were runners up in the competition, with Planet Aid being the charity shop winner. Jean’s Flowers also picked up a special award for their artistic flair and crown floral arrangement.”
Linda continued: “A big thank you to all those businesses that took time to dress their windows and for creating some amazing window displays which really added to the Coronation shopping experience for visitors to the town centre over the weekend. A special thank you also to Edmund for judging the windows.”
