The RSPCA Coventry & District branch, a separate charity to the national RSPCA but committed to their charitable objectives, was first established in our region in 1873. Each year, they help over 300 cats, 105 dogs and assist 521 further animals.
A call to Tallon International to ask if they would like to jointly celebrate and help the RSPCA Coventry & District Branch raise much needed funds was an easy request for the business to respond to. Steve Clay, CEO of Tallon International, said “Supporting charity is a core part of our company values. We are committed to maintaining and evolving our Corporate social responsibility strategy. Tallon are already a proud supporter of the national ‘Student Minds’ Charity, and partnering with the RSPCA Coventry & District Branch gives us an additional local focus that really speaks to our team, and hopefully helps support the amazing work the RSPCA do here in Coventry and the surrounding areas.”
The two organisations will be celebrating and fundraising on the 6th July at the Telegraph Hotel in Coventry. The evening will see the RSPCA Coventry & District talking about their animals and what they do and their volunteering opportunities as well as raising funds while having fun.
Emma Davies, Branch Fundraising & Marketing Manager at RSPCA Coventry & District Branch, said:
“We’re delighted that Tallon International is able to jointly celebrate with us and be our first level two Club 150 member. We know this is the start of a great relationship that we hope will benefit our local community.
If there are other businesses in the region that are celebrating significant milestones, we would love to see if there are opportunities for us all to celebrate together through fundraising or volunteering. If any business is interested please contact myself at [email protected]”.
