The webinar brought together HR professionals, business leaders and industry experts to explore how organisations can better support employees experiencing menopause, and the tangible business benefits of doing so.
Kathryn emphasised the creating tailored, empathetic workplace strategies rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.
This is even more critical as the UK Employment Rights Act 2025 mandates that employers with 250+ employees must publish "Menopause Action Plans” as of April 2027.
These mandatory, evidence-based plans will require organisations to outline support measures, reasonable adjustments and manager training to support employees going through menopause and perimenopause.
Kathryn said; “I think it’s time for a bit of critical thinking and decision making from businesses.
“It’s about integrity. I don’t want box ticking. I want the board engaged, and that’s really important because they create the mood and give everyone else permission to have these conversations.”
