Along with tours of the College’s industry-standard learning spaces, visitors will also have the opportunity to discuss their ambitions with expert tutors, talk to current students about life at NWSLC, and explore the comprehensive range of full-time courses, apprenticeships, and adult learning opportunities that are available.
The College’s Guidance Team will be on hand to offer free, impartial careers advice to help individuals make informed decisions about their next steps.

Wigston Campus – Business and Management, Beauty and Spa Therapies, Childcare and Education, Computing and IT, Counselling, Engineering, Foundation Learning, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Higher Education, Games Design, Media, Uniformed Public Services, Professional and Part-time Courses, Sport, Travel and Tourism and Access to Higher Education.
Hinckley Campus – Art and Design, Computing, Fashion and Textiles, Games Development, Graphic Design, Higher Education, Interior Design, Journalism, Media, Music, Performing Arts, Photography and Theatrical Make-Up.
Harrowbrook Campus – Construction Trade Apprenticeships, Brickwork, Carpentry and Joinery, Level 1 Electrical Installation, Construction Trades, Forklift Truck Maintenance and Repair.
MIRA Technology Institute (MTI) – Apprenticeships, Automotive and Engineering training, Higher Technical Courses (HTQs), Professional and Short courses, Bespoke Training for Employers, Distance Learning.
Local businesses are also invited to the open event at MTI, which is fast becoming an important technology arena for employers looking for upskilling opportunities within the mobility sector.

NWSLC is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, with behaviour and attitudes rated ‘outstanding’ following its latest inspection.NWSLC was praised for how students, adult learners and apprentices are supported, with inspectors saying they learn in a “supportive and aspirational college environment in which they are motivated to complete their courses”, noting that “students and apprentices speak highly of their teachers and college leaders and articulate clearly how they feel the college is a safe, welcoming and supportive place to learn”.
In addition, inspectors rated the College’s contribution to meeting skills needs as “strong” – the highest rating possible.
The Nuneaton, Wigston, Hinckley and Harrowbrook campuses will be open to visitors on Thursday, 25th June, from 4pm to 7pm, while the MTI campus will welcome guests on the same day from 5pm to 7pm.
