LDJ’s Housing Law Team has been a cornerstone for Warwickshire residents, serving thousands through the Housing Court Duty Solicitor Scheme since 2007, and offering critical assistance with eviction and homelessness cases. The team also advocates for clients in appeals involving local authority housing placements, collaborating closely with agencies such as P3, Citizens Advice Bureau, and Change Grow Live to deliver holistic support.
“We are deeply grateful to the Warwickshire Law Society for this recognition,” said Nikki Greenwell, Partner and Head of the Housing Law Team. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, the resilience of our clients, and the invaluable support of the agencies and associations we work closely with. Together, we strive to make a difference by safeguarding access to justice, especially in ‘Housing Advice Deserts’ like Warwickshire.”
In addition to client service, LDJ Solicitors is fostering future legal aid lawyers with a Ministry of Justice training grant, ensuring ongoing advocacy for housing rights.
