As a local resident, past student at the college, and member of staff of many years, Lynsey has a strong association with the college, knows its history, and is well placed to lead the college forward within the Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust.
Lynsey said: “I am really honoured to take the mantle of Principal at King Eds at such a pivotal moment in our history.
“Our students, parents and staff have always been and remain at the heart of all that we do. And it is a privilege to serve our local community as a flagbearer for student-led sixth-form education in the wider region.
“I’m proud of all that we have achieved, grateful for all the support we have received, and excited for the future as we continue to inspire young people to gain the skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.”
This appointment continues King Edward VI College’s long history of promoting excellence in sixth form education.
