Running from 9.30am to 5pm, the one-day course is designed to provide participants with the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. On completion, attendees will receive nationally recognised accreditation at no cost.
The course covers essential Basic Life Support theory, recognising and responding to emergencies, CPR and resuscitation techniques using professional training manikins, and effective leadership during a crisis. Participants will also learn how to work as part of an emergency response team to provide the best possible care.
Combining classroom learning with hands-on practical exercises, the course aims to equip attendees with life-saving skills that can be applied confidently in real-world situations.
Refreshment breaks will be provided throughout the day, although participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Free on-site parking is available.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The organisers also run fully accredited First Aid at Work courses throughout the year, priced at £95 per person, with upcoming dates scheduled for 10th July, 14th August and 18th September.
The free course will take place at Camden House, 201 Warwick Road, Kenilworth, CV8 1TH.
