He is a trained quantity surveyor, project manager and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) with more than 20 years’ experience in the construction sector.
Jon brings a wealth of expertise in site acquisition, delivery and partnerships development, having run his own housebuilding business in the Midlands for a decade.
In recent years he has specialised in the partnerships sector, working closely with organisations to identify opportunities to bring forward new developments.
The appointment comes as the firm continues to grow its reputation as the Midlands’ developer of choice for care and later living, with the sector accounting for more than 90 per cent of its projects in 2024/25.
In his new role at Deeley Group, Jon will focus on sourcing land opportunities, building strategic partnerships and supporting projects within the care and later living market.
Jon said: “I have been aware of the firm’s reputation as a well-established and highly respected regional business for some time, and it was that heritage, reputation and proven track record of success that attracted me to the role.
“When a company has the amount of repeat business as Deeley, combined with excellent financial stability, you know it is in a great position to grow further.
“I’m excited about helping drive projects forward, identifying new opportunities for Deeley and bringing in new partners to support the continued growth of the care and later living portfolio.”
Eleanor Deeley, Joint Managing Director of Deeley Group, said: “Jon joins the business at an important time for our growth in care and later living.
“His experience in land acquisition and partnership development will be invaluable as we look to build our already strong pipeline and continue to deliver high-quality schemes across the Midlands and surrounding areas.”
