From the new Autumn term, the College runs a fully funded sector work academy programme, or ‘SWAP’, via a 4 week training programme for 19 plus learners.

Modules covered include:

• Health & Safety in the Workplace
• Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment in logistics operations
• Keep stock levels at required levels in a logistics environment
• Wrap and pack goods in a logistics environment
• Use equipment to move goods in logistics facilities

The SWAP course is funded via West Midlands Combined Authority, therefore no cost to you the employer – just a commitment to provide work experience at your premises & a job interview for all candidates who have successfully completed the programme.

The College has successfully delivered SWAPs over the last 3 years, working with University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, SMILE Education & local Care Providers  to support with their recruitment of new employees.
