Trustees are responsible for setting strategy, monitoring organisational performance, overseeing financial management, supporting major projects and decisions, and ensuring services respond to the needs of Coventry’s diverse communities.
The Board also has a collective responsibility to promote equity, inclusion, and fairness across all areas of the organisation’s work.
Previous board experience is not required. Applications are welcomed from individuals with sound judgement, a commitment to public service, and a willingness to learn. The organisation is particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in law, though applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
The expected time commitment is approximately five to seven hours per month, with most meetings taking place in the evening.
The closing date for applications is 30 June 2026.
