The team of six, led by farmers Rod Adlington and Guy Minshull set off from Land’s End on May 16 and is scheduled to arrive at John O’Groats on 25 May.
The two farming colleagues are no stranger to marathon charity efforts, having rowed 3,200 miles across the Atlantic in 2024, raising more than £150,000 for charities Get A-Head and Meningitis Now.
Tom Bromwich, managing partner of Bromwich Hardy, is chairman of the trustees of Get-a-Head, which has raised well over £10 million since its foundation in 1994.
He said: “Get A-Head’s mission is to raise vital funds to directly help improve the quality of life for patients suffering from head and neck cancer and those who care for them. Money raised goes towards equipment, research and education.
“Bromwich Hardy supported Rod and Guy when they rowed 3,200 miles across the Atlantic in 2024, raising more than £150,000 for the same two charities, and we are delighted to be on the same ‘sponsor support team’ again.
“We would urge everyone who can to make a donation, however large or small, as it is all going to help push these guys all the way to John O’Groats and another successful adventure for two vital charities and the research they do.”
