The hospice will also be hosting its annual Christmas Fayre at the same venue with a selection of indoor market stalls and a Santa’s Grotto.
The Santa Scramble is open to every ability; you are invited to walk or jog the 5km course, which will run in allocated waves throughout the day until 4pm. Tickets are £20 for adults and £15 for under 16s, with an option of a family ticket for £50 for two adults and two children. As part of the entry, all participants will receive a free Santa suit and hat!
Described as ‘a Santa Dash with added fun’, this year’s Santa Scramble event will have a new twist on previous 5km Santa runs, as there will be a selection of inflatable obstacles that participants will be able to scramble under, over and between, including a ‘Pyramid Field’, ‘Crazy Tubes’, ‘Shock Absorber’ and ‘The Shredder’. Once completed though, they will be awarded with a very festive Santa Scramble medal.
Anyone can come along to the Christmas Fayre, whether they are participating in the Santa Scramble or not. If you want to get some last-minute Christmas shopping done, there will be many festive indoor stalls with local businesses including the Little Gin Company, Henley Chocolates, Tropic Skincare, Vin Neuf and a selection of silver jewellery, wreaths, crafts and candles.
