Members of the Chamber's Brexit Club met with the Home Office to discuss the details of the planned settlement scheme for EU nationals. The plans were welcomed as they provided reassurance to valued employees who are EU nationals, facing uncertainty about their future status in the UK. The straightforward, user friendly procedure was also welcomed. The scheme will be fully open by 30 March 2019, and an employer toolkit will be available in the Autumn.
