WMG Academy Coventry Celebrates Destinations Success

WMG Academy is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its students as they progress to the next stage of their education and careers.

This year’s Key Stage 4 and Post-16 destinations highlight exceptional academic results and impressive pathways into leading sixth forms, universities, and technical routes.

WMG Academy Coventry Celebrates Destinations Success

Key Stage 4 Destinations – Class of 2025

Declan S – Achieved top grades across his GCSEs, including grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Further Maths, and English Language, as well as a Level 2 Distinction in Engineering Manufacture. Declan is now studying at King Edward’s.

Alexandros A – Achieved an impressive suite of GCSEs, including a grade 9 in Maths and Distinctions in Engineering Manufacture, and is now choosing further study options.

Matilda E – Achieved excellent results across creative and technical subjects, including a grade 8 in Art and a Merit in Engineering Manufacture. She has received offers from King Edward’s Sixth Form and a local college.

Cedric J – Earned a series of high grades, including grade 8s in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Electronics, along with a Distinction* in Engineering. He will continue his education at WMG Academy Coventry Sixth Form.

Post-16 Destinations – Class of 2025

Jesse M – Achieved Distinction* Distinction* Distinction* in BTEC Applied Science and has secured a place at the University of Nottingham to study Pharmacy.

Priyanka H – Achieved A* A* in A Level Physics and Mathematics, alongside a Distinction* in CTEC Engineering. She will study Automotive Engineering at the University of Warwick.

Maaheem J – Achieved A* A in Mathematics and Physics, along with a Distinction* in Engineering. He will join the University of Warwick to study Mechanical Engineering.

Jahnavi Y – Achieved A*ABB across A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. She will continue her studies at Coventry University, pursuing Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence.
