The prestigious awards celebrate outstanding architecture, planning, and design that make a positive contribution to local communities.
The recreation of the cluster of derelict buildings and underutilised car park in Leamington’s Old Town was led by Warwick District Council and project partners Complex Development Projects, and funded through the government’s Future High Streets scheme.
Councillor Chris King, Portfolio Holder for Place at Warwick District Council, said:
“I am thrilled that the Council’s visionary and ambitious masterplan to reshape this part of Leamington Spa into an inclusive cultural and arts community has been nationally recognised.
This achievement would not have been possible without the input of our partners, including Complex Development Projects, Intervention Architecture, Waypm, Kavanagh Construction, and Edge Structural Engineering.
Thanks to their expertise and foresight, this exciting new space is now a thriving home for local creatives and businesses, delivering a vibrant programme of events and workshops for the local community.”
