Advent calendars that house cosmetics, fragrances, spirits, wellness products and more are becoming more popular than ever.
This year The Pack Smart Group has been working with Coventry-headquartered haircare brand Treasure Tress to assemble both its 12 and 25-door advent calendars which offer customers a range of products.
It has meant The Pack Smart Group set aside dedicated space in its warehouse on Blue Ribbon Park for Advent calendar packaging and shipping.
Seánna Holland, co-founder of The Pack Smart Group, said: “Complex Advent calendars that go beyond the traditional versions that certain generations remember as children are becoming increasingly popular, and this is the first year the business has been able to help clients ship their own.
“A lot of brands like to use Advent calendars as a way to stand out in an increasingly competitive Christmas market, while giving customers a more memorable way to discover their products.
“However, putting the packaging together can be a tricky task. It needs to house all the products properly without falling apart, while still being light enough to ship for minimal costs.
“We’ve been able to help Treasure Tress achieve that, meaning their own customers have been getting some wonderful surprises every day in December as they open each door of their Advent calendar.”
The Pack Smart Group has significantly increased the size of its seasonal workforce to meet demand and is looking to talk with clients well in advance to secure orders for Christmas 2026.
Seánna added: “The run up to Christmas is always a busy time of year for an industry like ours, and the sooner we can get agreements in place with clients, the more prepared we can be for next year.
“Gifts that provide that bit of social media clout, such as opening the first door on a premium Advent calendar, will continue to prove popular with people always looking for shareable and engaging content for their friends and audiences.
