Dating back to the 14th century, the Guildhall is regarded as one of the finest surviving medieval guildhalls in the country, offering an immersive journey through over 700 years of history.
Since undergoing a major restoration and reopening to the public under the management of No Ordinary Hospitality in 2022, the venue has welcomed thousands of visitors from across the UK and beyond.
The current staff and volunteers have established a vibrant visitor offer at the historic city centre attraction, alongside a rich programme of heritage and community events.
Abi Moore, Heritage and Venue Manager at St Mary’s Guildhall, said: “To retain this accolade for a third year is a real testament to our amazing team, who work so hard to make the Guildhall a welcoming and inspiring place for all our visitors.
“It’s a privilege to see so many people engaging with the remarkable stories contained within these walls – from medieval merchants to royal visitors. We’re so proud to be part of Coventry’s cultural landscape and to receive this recognition from our visitors is incredibly special.”
Each year, Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on millions of reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe, spotlighting destinations and attractions that go above and beyond to create meaningful experiences.
