RSC Environmental Tour
This free one-off tour of the RSC theatres focuses on the Company’s environmental actions and initiatives. Attendees will learn about all aspects of the RSC’s work from improvements to the buildings; environmental considerations in the shop and café; and steps to reduce the environmental impact of what goes on and comes off stage.

Green Dining Offers
During Great Big Green Week, we'll be serving up a selection of dishes with an environmental focus at the Rooftop Restaurant including:
- A special ‘Garden to Glass’ mocktails and cocktails drinks menu which features infusions with coffee grounds and home-grown herbs.
- Zero-waste pre-theatre menu which challenges the chefs to utilise produce that would otherwise by discarded.
- A home-made carrot cake using wonky veg and leftover carrot trimmings can be found in the Riverside Café.
- Shakespeare’s Sustainable Tudor themed specials – choose from a selection Tudor-era dishes with a sustainable twist (Friday and Saturday only).

Carbon Literacy Training Event
Learn about climate change and what is being done locally to create a low-carbon culture. Attend both sessions (9 June and 16 June) to qualify for your certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project.

Creative Writing & Water Workshop
Get your creativity flowing as we guide you through a series of water-inspired writing activities, exploring Shakespeare's seven ages of man as they relate to the seven ages of water.
Co-led by Lucy Parrott Writing Workshops and Lily Holbrook, Blue Health Coach at the RSC, this session invites you swap scrolling for scribing, as we explore Shakespeare's 7 ages of man as they relate to the 7 ages of water.
This workshop is in collaboration with 'River Hope', an emerging community creative process in Stratford.

River Hope Photography and Film Installation
Throughout Great Big Green Week, visit The Welcome Space in the PACCAR Room to watch a film created by River Hope photographers, providing a visual language for the river, its wildlife and nature.
This workshop is in collaboration with River Hope, a local grassroots movement using creativity, ceremony and action to foster love and stewardship for our waterways and their biodiversity.
Attendees can attend on the days below and also meet the photographers on Saturday 14 June from 11am to 12.30pm.

Exploring Sustainable Theatre-making
