The company has gone from strength to strength, exporting all over the world and landing two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
In June 2025, Simon sadly passed away from cancer and during his final days, he was cared for with dignity and compassion by The Myton Hospices, a charity that provides specialist end of life care across Coventry and Warwickshire.
In honour of his brother, Adam has taken on the challenge of running the London Marathon on April 26, with a mission to raise essential funds for Myton.
The charity receives only 17 per cent of its funding from the NHS, relying heavily on community fundraising to continue offering free, high-quality care to patients and their families.
Adam said: “I’ll be running the London Marathon in memory of my brother Simon.
“We lost Si in June last year to cancer. In his last days he was cared for by The Myton Hospices and, as a family, we are grateful for everything they did at such a difficult time.
“They rely so heavily on donations and charitable support and that’s why I am so keen to raise as much as I possibly can. Me and my whole family would be grateful for any support for the fundraiser.”
Jason Levy, director of Fundraising & Supporter Development at The Myton Hospices, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Adam for taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in support of The Myton Hospices in memory of his brother, Simon.
“Support from people like Adam plays a vital role in helping us continue to provide compassionate, specialist care to people living with a life-limiting illness across Coventry and Warwickshire.
“It is thanks to the generosity and dedication of individuals like him that we can be there for more people, like Simon and his family, when they need us most.”
Corin Crane, chief executive of the Chamber, said: “We wish Adam all the very best with this challenge for such a great cause and in memory of his brother and business partner, Simon.
“The Chamber will be rooting for him on the day and I encourage as many businesses and individuals to support such a great cause.”
