JD, who has worked alongside PET-Xi co-founder Fleur Sexton since 2008, will be bringing his trademark energy and real-world experience to the programme, not as a paid contributor, but as a passionate volunteer. Their shared passion for Coventry and its young people has seen them collaborate on a range of initiatives to inspire, uplift, and open doors for the next generation, and The Den is a natural continuation of that work.
“Coventry is my home, and I care deeply about what the next generation here grows up believing is possible,” said JD. “Fleur and the PET-Xi team are nothing short of phenomenal, the work they do genuinely changes lives and helps shape futures for young people. I’m proud to stand alongside them and do what I can to help create opportunities, raise aspirations, and show young people in this city just how much potential they have.”
” Fleur Sexton, CEO of PET-Xi, added:
“John brings such authenticity, humour and heart. The young people instantly connect with him. He’s been part of the PET-Xi family for years and we’re so grateful he’s giving up his time to help make The Den a success.”
