Meriden Hospital’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Stephen Haselip, will be taking on a thrilling challenge for charity on Saturday 27 September 2025, abseiling down the iconic Coventry Cathedral to raise funds for The Myton Hospices.

The Myton Hospices provide specialist care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as emotional and practical support to their loved ones. Relying heavily on donations, the charity aims to raise £60,000 through the event, with Stephen personally targeting £200 towards the cause.

Every contribution helps fund essential services, such as:

£34 – daily upkeep of relative accommodation
£60 – two hours of specialist nursing
£90 – three children’s counselling sessions
£126 – a patient’s meals for one week
