Three vouchers worth over £600 to spend at Mallory Court were also donated to Myton Hospice’s Warwick base for it to generate additional funds for its work providing care to people living with terminal illnesses and their families.
The Myton Hospices in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry require £12.7 million each year to provide their services.
Louise Careless, Community Fundraiser at The Myton Hospices, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Mallory Court for their generous donation of a hamper and vouchers. Our multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors and healthcare professionals, as well as all of our support staff work really hard to deliver the very best care for our patients and families, so it is lovely for Mallory Court to recognise this in such a thoughtful way.
“Partnerships like this make an enormous difference, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity.”
Josefine Blomqvist, General Manager at Mallory Court Hotel & Spa, added: “At Christmas we always try to give something back to our local community, especially to those who go above and beyond, and our staff were keen to support our local Myton Hospice.
“They provide such an invaluable service day in, day out, and we hope our donations help to put a smile on some people’s faces, while also helping to raise some funds for their work.”
