Chartered Marketer status is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and is held by only around 3,000 marketers worldwide. It recognises those who demonstrate ongoing dedication to maintaining professional excellence through structured learning and application of best practice across all areas of marketing.
Lindsay commented, “Attaining Chartered status is an achievement in itself, but maintaining it every year for over a decade requires genuine commitment to learning and professional growth.
“I’ve invested considerable time in enhancing my knowledge and skills to ensure I remain at the forefront of industry developments. I believe it’s essential to continue adapting and expanding my expertise so that I can deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.”
To retain her status, Lindsay undertakes a wide range of professional development activities each year, including training courses, webinars, mentoring, and attendance at key industry events. Her recent learning has included a masterclass in International Marketing Strategy and a course on Planning and Optimising Marketing Campaigns.
Lindsay was also elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in 2020. This is a distinction awarded to senior professionals who have demonstrated significant strategic leadership within the field. The CIM recognises Fellows as leaders and advocates of the marketing profession.
Lindsay said, “I’m deeply proud of my professional growth and of the standards that the Chartered Marketer designation represents. This milestone is a reflection not only of personal commitment but of the broader value that continuous professional development brings to the marketing industry as a whole.”
