With a mix of events online and in-person the aim is to offer something new and different in addition to the popular series of art, craft, wellbeing and educational courses run by the Guildhouse at its Rugby centre.
In “How to Self-Publish Properly”, Lindsay will guide participants through the process of turning a manuscript into a book, working through the publishing process and demonstrating how to market it properly. The evening course on Zoom runs for three weeks, commencing on 14th April.
The “How to Set Up a Business course” is a practical guide helping people understand where to start, how to prioritise, and all that needs to be considered before taking the plunge. This is also an evening course on Zoom running for three weeks from 4th June.
Other events featured in this special series being run by different experts are “Making a Video on Your Phone” – a two-session online course starting on 6th May run by Clockwork Eye Video, and “Find Your Voice”, an in-person course at the Guildhouse run by experienced spoken word and poetry performer, Ian Fisermanis. The four-week course starts on 7th May.
And finally, designer and illustrator, Rakha Madahar, is offering a two-session course at the Guildhouse on Designing Your Own Tea Towel, starting on 12th May.
