Top of the bill are opportunities to hear from top human rights barrister Michael Mansfield KC and leading screenwriter, Andrew Davies, who is also patron of the week-long event.
But the programme also features classical music, poetry, political discussion, arts and crafts and historical talks.
Organiser Rebecca Warwick, chair of Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, said: “This is the first time we have run a festival like this and we are so excited by the programme we are offering. There really is something for everyone in this fantastic line-up. And what a great way to get out and do something interesting, sociable and positive at this time of year.”
The festival is divided into three themes – make and do; experience; words and ideas.
