Six new Partners have been named, including Gurinder Hayer (Commercial), Cris Manuel-Hughes (Dispute Resolution) and Lynne Adams (Employment and Immigration).
The Corporate team has seen significant growth, with 14 promotions. Among them, Lara Bethell becomes the fifth Corporate Partner in the firm’s London office. This follows HCR Law being named the UK’s most active M&A dealmaker for another year, highlighting the team’s national strength.
In Family Law, Shereen Chohan and Lauren Nash move into Partner roles, alongside 11 further promotions across fee-earning and support positions. Private Client also sees strong progression with 20 promotions across the team.
Several promotions have been made in the Leamington Spa office in the first promotion round since Wright Hassall joined HCR Law in November 2025, reflecting strategic growth in response to rising client demand.
The round also includes 11 newly qualified lawyers – nine solicitors and two licensed conveyancers – who qualified between October 2025 and March 2026. They join the Commercial, Corporate, Education, Employment, Family Law, Private Client, Real Estate and Residential Property teams across multiple offices.
Rod Thomas, Managing Partner, said: “Today marks a significant moment for HCR Law as we celebrate a record number of promotions across the firm. More than 100 colleagues will step into new roles from 1 April, recognising their hard work and strengthening the support we provide to clients.
“This wave of promotions shows how investing in our people directly enhances the service we offer. Congratulations to all.”
Rachel Turner, Partner and Training Principal, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our newest group of homegrown solicitors and licensed conveyancers. Their achievement reflects years of effort and commitment, and we look forward to supporting them as they begin the next stage of their careers at HCR Law.”
