This year’s theme, ‘community’, highlighted the crucial role of connection and togetherness in promoting good mental health. At a time when many people feel isolated or disconnected, the campaign served as a powerful reminder of the support that can be found in community ties.
Throughout the week, Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind shared stories, advice and signposted resources, helping people to connect, seek help and support one another.
From attending festivals and hosting pop-ups in town centres to organising coffee mornings and leading workshops at local businesses, the charity spent the week in the community, highlighting the 25+ wellbeing support services it delivers.
Steven Hill, CEO, said, “Mental health thrives where community thrives. Lighting up our city is a visible symbol of solidarity — a reminder that we are all part of something bigger and that no one has to face difficult times alone. We want people to know that support is here, and that by coming together as a community, we can build a healthier, more compassionate future.”
For over five decades, Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind has delivered vital mental health services across the region, supporting children, young people and adults through a wide range of programmes including one-to-one support, recovery care, housing services, youth peer groups and a 24/7 mental wellbeing helpline.
