Coventry Citizens Advice is launching a new Digital Access Hub, providing digital support to the people of Coventry. With volunteer assistance and adviser-led sessions, the project aims to boost digital skills, tackle device poverty, and increase confidence amongst tech-shy individuals giving them skills and experience for 2026 and beyond.
Coventry Citizens Advice is one of 80 innovative digital skills and support schemes to receive government funding to help the most vulnerable in communities get online with confidence. The one-off award of £36 000 will help 600 people in the city become confident online.
CEO, Simon Richards says; “We’re delighted at this incredible boost to our service. It will make an enormous and immediate improvement to the lives of hundreds of families across Coventry, who will be better able to help deal with the challenges they face. In today’s connected world, digital exclusion is an issue that can limit people’s ability to find work, find help and connect with services they need…This will help us to make a real difference to people’s lives.”
The Digital Hub is open every day at the Citizens Advice city centre office, Coventry Citizens Advice, Kirby House, 15 Little Park Street, Coventry. CV1 2JZ is Monday – Friday 09:30 – 15:00, with a break between 12:00 and 13:00 for lunch. There’s no need to book, just turn up.
