The former 12th-century Cistercian abbey, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary as a hotel, is one of the region’s best-loved destinations for short stays, weddings, and memorable experiences, including its renowned medieval banquets and afternoon tea.
Now in their 12th edition, the Muddy Stilettos Awards celebrate the most exciting independent businesses across 35 counties. This year’s campaign reached more than 11 million people nationwide, with over half a million nominations and votes cast across 21 categories.
Ron Terry, Group Operations Director for No Ordinary Hospitality, which operates Coombe Abbey Hotel, said: “To be voted for by the public makes this recognition extra special, and we’re honoured to represent the region in the national finals.
“This award is a wonderful tribute to the dedication of our whole team as well as the guests and visitors who come through our doors every day, and we’d love to cap our 30th year as a hotel by claiming the national title.”
