Coombe Abbey, the former Cistercian monastery renowned for its afternoon tea, medieval banquets and picturesque countryside, is up for the Event Venue and Hotel awards.
The Muddy Stilettos Awards are open to independent lifestyle businesses in the UK, running across 35 counties, reaching over 11 million people.
St Mary’s Guildhall, one of the oldest surviving medieval guildhalls in the country, has also been nominated for Family Experience – a new category for 2025, while Tales of Tea, located in the 14th century hidden gem’s atmospheric undercroft, is in the final five in the Restaurant category.
A public vote, open until April 15, will decide which venues will take the regional crown and progress to the national finals on June 25, where they will be in with a chance of being named the ‘Best of the Best’ in their category.
Ron Terry, Group Operations Director at No Ordinary Hospitality, said: “The Muddy Stilettos Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the incredible venues and attractions in Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
“To see the public showing their appreciation for St Mary’s and Coombe Abbey is testament to our brilliant members of staff and the work they do to provide everyone who visits us with a memorable experience.
“We’d love to go all the way and are encouraging everyone to vote in the next round to show their support for their favourite destinations.”
