The partnership comes amid growing recognition of the impact of workplace wellbeing on performance.
According to the CIPD’s 2025 Health and Wellbeing at Work report, UK workers are now taking an average of 9.4 days off sick per year, with stress and mental health among the leading causes – putting the onus on employers to support staff wellbeing more proactively.
The flexible 30-to-60-minute sessions are designed to help individuals boost focus and resilience, with options including guided breathwork, desk yoga, coaching on presence and impact, and sessions on navigating change and staying productive under pressure.
Each package includes arrival refreshments, superfood snacks, a healthy two-course lunch and time to explore Coombe Abbey’s grounds, with lakeside paths and woodland trails helping delegates recharge between sessions.
The sessions, which range from desk-yoga, breathwork training and how to boost personal impact in meetings, are tailored to the needs of individual businesses – from energising delegates at the start of a meeting, to guided reflection and intention-setting at the end of a strategy day.
Carmen, a mindset transformation coach with over 23 years’ experience, said: “These sessions are about creating a calm, focused mindset and giving people tools they can take away and use long after the meeting has ended.
“Whether it’s reducing stress, managing pressure or boosting confidence and communication, these short sessions build resilience in a lasting way and Coombe Abbey provides a fantastic backdrop to host these sessions with its combination of high quality meeting rooms and green spaces for delegates to explore during breaks.”
The hotel is operated by No Ordinary Hospitality Management, whose venues also include St Mary’s Guildhall, Stoneleigh Abbey and the IXL Events Centre.
Ron Terry, Group Operations Director at No Ordinary Hospitality, said: “We’ve seen a real shift in what businesses expect from their meetings. More than ever, they want experiences that help staff perform at their best not just in the moment, but in the long term.
“These sessions add real value to our offer at Coombe Abbey, and we’ve already seen lots of interest in our wellbeing packages from firms looking to put their best foot forward in 2026.”
