Founded in 2021 in the middle of the pandemic, Chadwick Accountants has grown rapidly from a back-bedroom start-up into a 16-strong team with a prominent high-street presence in Bidford-on-Avon. That growth has never been growth for growth’s sake. From the outset, the firm was built around a clear philosophy: accountancy should be proactive, commercially grounded and human. Every member of the team comes from industry rather than traditional practice backgrounds, allowing them to sit firmly in their clients’ shoes and provide advice that genuinely supports decision-making, not just compliance.
That approach was recognised nationally in 2025 at the AVN Awards, where Chadwick Accountants achieved the rare distinction of winning three awards in a single year. The firm was named High Profile Practice of the Year and received the Changing Lives Award, Completing the trio, Managing Director Rachael Chadwick-Harrison was named Most Inspiring Accountant, celebrating her leadership journey and influence within the profession.
Reflecting on the recognition, Rachael said:
“Winning awards isn’t about trophies. It’s about validation for our clients, our team and the impact we’re making. Every award represents real people, real businesses and real change.”
That theme, impact over optics, runs through every part of Chadwick’s story.
The firm’s growth journey was also recognised closer to home. The Stratford Herald Business & Tourism Awards named Chadwick Accountants Best New Business, highlighting its exceptional turnover growth, team expansion and contribution to the local business community in just a few short years.
At the Women in Change Awards, the firm was honoured with Best Change Programme of the Year, recognising its people-led approach to scaling, developing talent and embedding sustainable change without losing its culture or values.
Crowning an extraordinary year, Chadwick Accountants was named “Accountancy Firm of the Year in the Central Region” at the Prestige Awards 2025. The judges praised the firm’s consistent delivery of outstanding client service.
Much of the thinking behind this success was shared during a recent AVN webinar and podcast discussion on FFS – For Finance’s Sake, in an episode titled “Secrets of a Multi-Award-Winning Accountant”. In the episode, Rachael spoke candidly about visibility, leadership and why so many accountants undervalue the impact they create.
“A lot of firms do incredible work behind the scenes,” she explained. “But if you don’t record it, talk about it and share the impact, no one ever sees it.”
By choosing to be visible and backing that visibility with substance, Chadwick Accountants has challenged outdated perceptions of what an accountancy firm can be.
