In Coventry, the funding will support community-led projects in Hillfields and Tile Hill, helping to deliver lasting improvements driven by residents. The initiative aims to give local communities real influence over how the funding is used, delivering improvements that best meet the needs of their residents.

Councillor Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Regeneration and Climate Change, said: “This is fantastic news for the people that live in the Hillfields and Tile Hill areas of the city and follows the news earlier this year that Willenhall is also set to get £20 million over ten years.

“Coventry is full of proud people living in vibrant communities, and this investment will give local residents a real voice and hand in shaping the future of their community. Local people know their areas best and this cash is flexible so can be used on a wide range of projects.
