The event saw Tom’s fans in Coventry get a first look at the full-scale live tour production before it hits the road for his 11-date nationwide arena tour.
The buzz built across the city on the day of the show with Tom joined by hundreds of fans for a morning fun run in War Memorial Park.
Fans arrived early to get their space at the front, before Tom came kicked off his set with two tracks off his new album, Full Attention and Higher.
“How we feeling, Coventry?” shouted Tom as he introduced himself to the crowd with his set list including new song and the back catalogue of hits that have seen him surpass one billion UK streams, receiving the BRIT Billion Award.
From Little Bit of Love, All These Nights and Lionheart, to Found What I’ve Been Looking For, Remind Me and By Your Side.
Paul Michael, Managing Director at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “What a brilliant night in the Indoor Arena as we welcomed Tom to the stage for the first time.
“This topped off a huge week in the stadium’s history and there was an incredible atmosphere, made even more special by the way that Tom has embraced Coventry as his second home.
“It was another unforgettable night of live entertainment here at Coventry Building Society Arena.
“Our live event portfolio continues to grow, with Bob Dylan all set to play live at the venue in November too, and we are hoping to share some further exciting new announcements very soon.”
