Rachel Orman, Communication and Fundraising Worker for Bardsley Youth Project, commented:
“Donations like these go a long way in supporting the young people of Coventry. Malnutrition affects physical and mental well-being, leading to poor decision-making and performance issues at work or school. This one donation alone supports almost half the projected need at our Warm Space, a place for local young people to connect and be supported this winter. I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this brilliant project.”
Vienna Jeavons, Events Co-Ordinator at Warwick Events said
“We’re proud to support the amazing work that Bardsley Youth Project does. Our donation will provide 260 meals this winter, helping to make a difference to those in need during the colder months.”
Bardsley Youth Project recently launched Its winter fundraising campaign ‘Nourish, Connect, Support’. The campaign aims to raise £3,000 providing 600 meals at £5 a meal to young people attending the charity's Warm Space for support this winter. Businesses and individuals alike are encouraged to give if they can.
For every £5 donated, one nutritious prepared meal can be provided to our city’s young people who desperately need it this winter.
