The Coventry and Warwickshire Workplace Wellbeing forum will return for its sixth instalment next month to help local businesses continue to improve the health and wellbeing support they offer to their employees. The Forum will take place on Tuesday 24th June (9:30am-12:30pm) at Eliot Park Innovation Centre, Nuneaton, and is offered as part of the Coventry and Warwickshire Wellbeing for Life programme. Representatives who work within health and wellbeing from businesses across the region are invited to attend the free event that has a focus on prevention and discussion on how employers can play a crucial role in supporting the government's "Get Britain Working" plans. The agenda is: • Workwell: the link to Get Britain Working and how employers can benefit from the service • Health at Work: Prevention is better than cure. Using the Prevention Framework to take practical steps to avoid ill health • Prevention Saves, CPR Rescues. A story of community, attitude, the importance of training and bravery • Mental wellbeing as a key part of road safety • Sexual Harassment in the workplace – your mandatory duty explained Eventbrite tickets are now available here The Workplace Wellbeing Forum is provided by Public Health teams across Warwickshire County Council and Coventry City Council and is a place for local employers to network, share best practice and access resources that will support them in developing improved wellbeing practices.
