Our busy, patient focused clinic needs an efficient, reliable and self-motivated professional support, ad-hoc Receptionist to help cover our Front desk team when required. They would be expected to perform general clerical duties and provide customer service and assistance for all the clinic's patients and practitioners when our regular team are on annual leave. Tasks undertaken would be but not limited to:TASKS:1. Book all patient appointments (Initial Assessments and Follow ups) accurately using the clinic's TM3 booking system2. Register new patients and book appointments accurately using TM3 3. Complete appointments and take payment ensuring that invoices/receipts are issued if needed4. Answer incoming telephone calls and messages, determining purpose and handling appropriately5. Scan documents and attach to the appropriate patient record6. Shred unwanted documents at appropriate times7. Record clearly in the diary all queries that cannot be dealt with so that Front desk team can deal with when next available to do so.8. Keep reception area tidy9. Help with stock item ordering as requiredREQUIREMENTS:Computer Literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookOTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:1. Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality with personal and financial information2. Be able to prioritise3. Maintain a professional but friendly manner at all times with strong customer service skills including ability to communicate with patients of all ages, clinicians and medical consultant teams.4. Ensure attention to detail
