Marketing Manager (Hotel, Conference & Events Sales)

SALARY              £32,000.00 (Dependent on experience) + PRP

Draycote Hotel are now seeking an experienced, professional (Conference & Events) Marketing  Manager with a minimum 3-years hotel, hospitality, conference & events marketing experience in a prestige conference, events, meetings, weddings, hotel venue working with a busy hotel and event sales team and delivering outstanding marketing solutions to support exceptional sales growth.            

The successful individual will undertake the following key responsibilities:

Grow sales throughout the business in the hotel – accommodation, conference & events, food & beverage, weddings and meetings, and in Whitefields Golf Club through the planning, organisation and implementation of all strategic marketing and promotional activities and across all platforms including website, social media, e-marketing, networking, venue listings and industry associations.

  • Undertake all marketing activities in support of the sales function and in fulfillment of the marketing plans and objectives & support the design and development of content for marketing material
  • Manage and implement all digital and e-marketing strategies and activities through the adoption of best practice and continuous improvement
  • Manage and develop the websites through the WordPress content management system and undertake all social media activity appropriately to support the promotion and growth of the business
  • To design and produce all marketing material, posters, flyers and other collateral in accordance with the marketing plans and activities undertaking business development, sales and marketing and promotional activities; driving wedding bookings and managing delivery.
  • Assist the General Manager and directors in producing annual sales and marketing plans and planning out marketing activities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the conference & events team in the processing of event enquiries and their conversion, planning and organisation

You must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, be well-presented and have an excellent knowledge of marketing within the Regional MICE industry, conference and events delivery, weddings, F&B services, and hospitality. You must be able to demonstrate how you have contributed through the delivery of exceptional marketing plans and activities to increasing enquiry levels, conversions in C&E and Wedding sales. Knowledge of venue quality accreditation, sustainability and quality standards would also be advantageous as would experience of golf clubs and club membership. 

The position is working from home (2 days per week) and office based. The salary for the position also attracts Performance Related Pay* at year-end based upon your contribution to over-performance sales. [* Conditions apply]
