Key Responsibilities
1. Learning & Development Sales
- Identify and engage corporate clients with leadership, management, and skills development needs.
- Conduct high-quality discovery conversations to understand client challenges, goals, and development priorities.
- Work with L&D Managers and Programme Directors to design and position tailored learning solutions.
- Manage opportunities from prospect to proposal, ensuring a smooth handover into delivery.
- Nurture ongoing relationships to drive repeat programmes and renewals.
2. Cross-Selling Venue Solutions
- Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell venue and residential facilities to existing and new learning clients.
- Promote Ashorne Hill’s spaces for learning delivery, workshops, and client-led events, ensuring venue use supports the wider learning offer.
- Work closely with the Venue Sales team to coordinate client needs, enhance occupancy, and provide seamless service across departments.
- Use venue enquiries as an entry point for potential learning conversations positioning Ashorne Hill as a full-service learning and events partner.
3. Business Development & Client Growth
- Develop and execute a targeted sales plan for the Learning & Venue portfolio.
- Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with HR, L&D, and business leaders, understanding sector trends and buying behaviour.
- Attend relevant industry events and networking forums to build brand visibility and client engagement.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create campaigns and materials that promote learning solutions
4. Reporting & Performance
- Meet or exceed agreed sales and pipeline targets for Learning revenue.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on activity, opportunities, and conversion rates.
- Monitor client feedback and market insights to refine propositions and identify emerging needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and client experience.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of Learning & Development solutions and/or corporate training markets.
- Consultative sales style with excellent questioning, listening, and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with experience managing a sales pipeline and meeting revenue targets.
- Collaborative, proactive, and aligned to Ashorne Hill’s “One Team” values.
- Comfortable promoting both learning solutions and venue services in an integrated way.

- Growth in Learning & Development revenue.
- Increased utilisation of venue facilities through learning-related activity.
- Successful cross-sell conversion between learning clients and venue bookings.
