Chamber announces partnership extension for key survey

One of the region’s leading accountancy groups has thrown its weight behind the most important economic survey for a seventh year running.

Prime Accountants Group, which has offices in Coventry, Birmingham and Solihull, is partnering with Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce on its Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) and will also be a headline sponsor for its Annual Business & Economic Conference in November.

The quarterly survey asks firms of all sizes and sectors across the region for their input on everything from investment plans through to recruitment activity. It is then analysed by the Business Intelligence Service at Warwickshire County Council.

The results reflect the current economic climate in the region, as well as looking at potential growth in the future. They are also fed directly into the British Chambers of Commerce to help form a better understanding of the overall UK economy.

The findings are then used by Government – locally and nationally – as well as institutions such as the Bank of England when setting policy.

This year’s Annual Business and Economic Conference is taking place at the IXL Events Centre in Southam on Friday, November 6 with a range of high-profile speakers already secured.
