Developing Minds for Developing Business

Young Chamber is a national initiative, backed by the Government, which aims to help bring together schools, Chambers of Commerce and businesses to better provide enterprise-related activities to young people aged 14-19.

Schools benefit by being supported by their local Chamber of Commerce to link with local businesses, businesses benefit by working with, and influencing future careers of, future employees and young people benefit by learning the business skills they will need in their future careers.

Young Chamber is delivered by Young Chamber UK in partnership with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, in association with the British Chambers of Commerce and in collaboration with the National EBP Network, funded by the Department for Children Schools and Families.

A Chamber of Commerce has been appointed to represent and lead the Young Chamber programme in each of the ten regions of England and Wales.  Each lead Chamber will contract with their local chambers to deliver the programme in their area.
