Workplace Wellbeing
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber in conjunction with the Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust and the Coventry City Council’s Coventry Health Improvement Programme (CHIP), is delivering the ‘Working Well in Coventry’ project, which provides health and wellbeing services to Coventry based businesses. The services are available to single employers or groups of smaller businesses in the same location.
The project exists to raise awareness of the human, economic & social costs of illness to both employers & employees. Many small & medium sized companies will monitor absenteeism, but few will have a true view of the total costs of illness, including management time & the reduced productivity of employees at work who have health issues.
The project addresses health issues relating to employment including musculoskeletal, stress and mental health. The project also focuses on prevention and early diagnosis of preventable illnesses, which are linked to lifestyle and include smoking, healthy eating and lack of physical activity.
The free services available to small and medium sized Coventry businesses include:
- Health Screening (Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, BMI plus others)
- Health Awareness Sessions (Healthy Eating, Alcohol, Smoking Cessation plus others)
In addition, we are running a series of free Workplace Wellbeing events; please click here for details.
