Would you like to to invest in more skills within your business - would you like to develop and further develop your employees skills and knowledge? The skills brokerage service is here to help you do this. The Service will work with you as a business to help develop a 'joint investment plan ' around skills. These can be done via the 'skills offer' including the following:
Train to Gain
The Learning and Skills Council’s Train to Gain service provides impartial, independent advice on training to businesses across England. It can help businesses improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that employees have the right skills to do the best job.
Skills Pledge
The Skills Pledge is a voluntary, public commitment by the leadership of a company or organisation to support all its employees to develop their basic skills, including literacy and numeracy. Find out more here.
Leadership and Management
The drive to create the West Midlands’ business leaders of tomorrow has gathered pace, with the launch of a new £2m programme aimed at helping local companies become more competitive.
Apprenticeships
High quality work based training programmes for young people and adults who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working.
Integrated Emplyoment and Skills
A joined up system with Job Centre Plus to support individuals to gain employability skills to enter employment and to continue support when in employment.
