Our Role
The International Trade Team provides a programme of services to assist local companies to trade internationally. Although primarily geared towards export, we can also offer assistance to businesses and organisations considering inward investment into the region.
- New exporters can find help with getting started and understanding the export process.
- Experienced exporters can find help in developing new and more difficult international markets.
Our UK Trade and Investment funded International Trade Advisors are on hand to assist with advice and support to businesses, introducing you to overseas commercial teams across the globe to longer-term in-depth counselling to suit your company's specific plans.
The Chamber Documentation Team can assist with a range of export documentation including EC Certificates of Origin, EUR1’s, ATRs and Arab Documentation.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the Government organisation that can help your business succeed overseas. UK Trade & Investment combines the resources of the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (www.dti.gov.uk) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s national and international network of Trade Development Officers (www.fco.gov.uk) to help you achieve your international business potential.
